April 19, 2019 ordered 2 wraptastic products - they took all my CC info and THEN a confirmation pops up with an order number and a note stating the product is out of stock and my card won't be charged until shipped - meanwhile they have all my info and 2 months later no product, and the same items are for sale all over the web for less than 1/2 of what I paid. Really Pissed. KN in Florida

Plastic wrap refill options

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I had been wanting one of these devices for quite some time because one of my arms is permanently disabled and its extremely difficult to try to dispense and use plastic wrap using only one hand. So, my mom bought me one for Christmas a couple of years ago. I fumbled around with the device at first but then soon adapted my own personal method for successful use and love this device. The issue that I have is that this device will only accept wrap rolls that have a inside diameter of 1 3/8". Different brands of plastic wrap are NOT of a standard 1 3/8" diameter as I learned the hard way. Don't buy Glad, Reynolds, or Family Dollar brands. They will not fit. I'm hoping that the one reviewer who said that Great Value (Walmart) brand does fit. I'm not about to bring a ruler to the store with me and tear open the ends of the boxes of different brands to check this, yet, I HAVE had to return a couple of rolls to the store(s) where I had purchased them before realizing this issue. Good luck

Wraptastic is a piece of junk!

Followed the hard to follow instructions only to find the plastic is warped. Could not pull wrap out without holding on to unit. Unit did not cut the wrap. Had to lift lid and fight with wrap to feed. The lid will stick on one side each time I tried to cut wrap. The lid kept popping off the back holders when I would try to push lid down with each unsuccessful cut. Unit will not sit when you try to pull out the wrap. This whole WrapNonTastic is a total scam and I will throw it in the trash. This product is the biggest joke on TV.

Having to hold the unit from moving with one hand defeats its purpose

After a simple modification my wraptastic works fantastic. I installed a one inch suction cup on each end of the unit. Now it stays put so I can pull out the plastic wrap by both corners using both hands so it doesn't wad up and stick together. If I had designed this gadget I would have incorporated lever activated suction cups, like the ones on pencil sharpeners, into each end of the base. Put it on any smooth surface, stick it down and go. Quickly remove to store. I use mine every day now that it doesn't slide around. Too bad I had to fix this obvious design flaw before I could use it.

Ripped off!

We ordered wraptastic with the bonus offer and after receiving it we were very disappointed. We called them and were told to simply mail it back. However they sent it back to us in the same package that we posted it in.We called them again and were told that there must have been a mistake and we just had to mail it back to them.Surprise! We called back 3 weeks later and they don't have any idea about the tracking # or having received the return. We tell as many of our friends not to buy it as it is a scam, plain and simple!

Wraptastic is a scam!

I ordered the standard order of 2 units and the (Wait! There's more!) bonus offer. I was charged $53 for the order and then they double billed me, The second order was billed at $72 for the same thing. I called to cancel and they told me they could only give me credits of $18 and $22 if I sent them back. I refused the second order at the post office and Wraptastic won't give me anything back. What a scam! And I agree with the reviewer that the unit shreds the plastic wrap and is adequate for foil. I got the bonus set for a gift but I don't want my friend to have to put with this.

UNLIKE AS SHOWN ON TV

I purchased the WRAPTASTIC food wrapping machine from a television ad. I had to wait over 25 minutes, as I was forced to listen to their pitches for multiple other products. I say "forced" because they ask for your credit card info at once and don't give you a confirmation of your purchase until after you listen to their abusively long list of pitches. Finally, they link you to a "live" person at a travel agency, offering a "free" vacation. If you decline, he gets very rude and says the you called him! I would not recommend anyone ever waste their time getting this product. It is cumbersome to use and DOES NOT stay in place while pulling out the wrap. It has slippery, plastic feet.

Does not work as advertised

The only thing that works as seen on their commercials is the cut off. After cut off, you need to open the lid remove a bar and find the loose end of the wrap and re feed it. As others have said, you need both hands to pull it from the dispenser. Total junk. You also get lots of calls trying to sell you other stuff. They readily offer a $6 refund and I could keep it. I figured that was the best option as to get my $10 back, I would have had to pay the shipping back to them. Don't waste your money.
